Cognizant Remote Job Opportunity for a Lead Front-End Developer. As a Lead Front-End Developer, you will build interfaces that’re easy for users to interact with. You will make sure the code works well by testing it. You will also work with teams.
Responsibilities:-
- Develop front-end features using React, TypeScript and JavaScript that work well on different devices.
- Write tests using JEST to ensure the product works properly and’s stable.
- Work closely with designers, backend engineers and product stakeholders.
- Review code to ensure it follows practices.
- Give estimates of how long tasks will take and deliver them on time.
- Fix issues and improve performance. Improve the front-end architecture.
- Document parts, patterns and technical decisions.
Requirements:-
- Experience using React in a real-world setting.
- Good skills in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience writing unit tests using JEST and Storybook.
- Understanding of front-end architecture, component-based development and state management.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous programming and modern development workflows.
- Experience using version control (Git). Workflows that involve continuous integration and delivery.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to deliver work based on effort estimations.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Experience with front-end performance optimisation.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Node.js (a plus).
- * Experience with design systems or component libraries (a plus).
