Tech Mahindra is seeking skilled professionals for roles in the domain of braking system design and development. As an Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Lead in the Brakes team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing braking systems and pedal controls, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
- Conceptualize and layout braking systems, pedal controls, brake tubes, and piping layouts.
- Ensure that designs meet purposeful necessities and follow safety standards.
System and Component Analysis:
- Perform element and system-stage calculations to ensure superior overall performance.
- Analyze failure modes and implement answers to enhance system reliability.
Material and Manufacturing Expertise:
- Utilize knowledge of sheet metal, castings, and forgings within the layout technique.
- Understand the manufacturing approaches for brake additives and optimize designs as a result.
CAD Modeling and Documentation:
- Create and preserve correct 3D and 2D models with the use of CATIA and other gear.
- Apply GD&T concepts to make certain precision in designs.
- Track project development and maintain proper documentation for timely deliveries.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work carefully with go-useful groups (CFT) to clear up layout-demanding situations.
- Present more than one proposal with execs/cons analysis to facilitate knowledgeable choice-making.
