The Data Entry Specialist at IOC is responsible for meticulously entering, verifying, and maintaining various types of data. Their duties revolve around handling data accurately and efficiently to support decision-making processes, optimize operational efficiency, and maintain data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurate Data Entry: The primary responsibility involves inputting diverse data sets into IOC’s database systems with precision, speed, and a high level of accuracy. This includes but is not limited to financial records, customer information, inventory data, and operational statistics.
2. Data Verification and Quality Assurance: Conducting thorough reviews and validation checks on entered data to ensure it meets established standards. Verifying completeness, correctness, and consistency of data before integration into the system.
3. Database Maintenance and Organization: Managing and updating databases, spreadsheets, and digital records to ensure they are current, well-organized, and easily accessible for authorized personnel.
4. Error Detection and Correction: Detecting, investigating, and rectifying discrepancies or errors in the data. Collaborating with relevant departments or supervisors to resolve issues promptly.
5. Utilization of Software Tools: Proficiently operating software applications such as Microsoft Excel, specialized data entry software, and database management tools to streamline data entry processes and enhance productivity.
6. Adherence to Data Security and Compliance: Following established protocols, security measures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure data confidentiality, protection, and compliance with industry standards.
