Job and responsibilities
The selected candidates for the role of design engineer will work in research and development (R&D) and engineering and manufacturing divisions. The main responsibilities include:
- Working on basic and detailed engineering projects for thermal energy plants, supercritical plants, and combined cycle energy plants.
- Preparation and review of pipe diagrams and instrumentation (P&D) and summary configurations of associated devices for turbine accessories and generators, such as water, oil, fuel, cooling, and air systems.
- Performing reviews of technical proposals (ITO-researcher in request) and creating profitable product design strategies.
- Development of general disposition drawings (GA), plant designs, and layout plans using advanced tools such as the Aveva diagram, the Aveva, and the AutoCAD engineering tool.
- Creation and modification of order specifications, BOM (Materials school), and spare parts lists.
- Coordinating with multifunctional equipment, including customers, suppliers, configuration equipment, and electrical engineers, to guarantee execution without project problems.
- Preparation of field modification instructions (IMF) and management requirements.
- Task management with full property to guarantee timely delivery, profitability, and high quality.
Required skills and qualifications
Educational qualification:
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge of the thermal energy plant, combined cycle, and supercritical energy plants systems.
- Experience in pipes, tubes, valves, accessories, and plant designs.
- Competition in P&D preparation, GA drawings, technical specifications, and data sheets.
- Practical experience with Aveva Tools, AutoCAD, and plant design software.
