📋 UNFPA Internship 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirement (a)	Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and completed at least one academic year
Educational Requirement (b)	Enrolled in a postgraduate degree (Master’s or higher)
Educational Requirement (c)	Recently graduated (must start internship within 1 year of graduation)
Educational Requirement (d)	Enrolled in a postgraduate professional trainee programme (internship must be part of the programme)
Interest Area (e)	Strong interest in development-related fields
Language Requirement (f)	Proficiency in English or French + fluency in one UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish)
Skills Requirement (g)	Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds
Important Restriction	Candidates with immediate family (parents, siblings, children) working at UNFPA are not eligible

💰 UNPF Global Internship Roster 2026 – Stipend Details

Interns who do not receive financial support from any external source (such as a university, government, or institution) are eligible for a stipend.
The stipend is provided as a contribution towards living expenses during the internship period.
The amount of the stipend is based on the intern’s agreed place of work, which may differ from the official duty station in case of remote work.
The stipend is usually paid in local currency.
Payments are made at the end of each month.
