Job Description: Cisco Hiring Network Escalation Engineer
Cisco is hiring network escalation engineers who can troubleshoot complex network issues, support mission-critical systems, and resolve escalations raised by enterprise customers and internal teams. This role is ideal for people who enjoy deep technical problem-solving, working on high-impact matters, and ensuring network stability at scale.
As a Network Escalation Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing problems in enterprise networks, routers, firewalls, switches, cloud-based systems, and security platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, product development and global support teams to investigate root causes and deliver quick, reliable and accurate solutions. You’ll also get hands-on experience with Cisco’s latest technologies, including SD-WAN, Nexus switches, UCS, wireless networks, and cybersecurity products.
This role requires strong networking fundamentals, the ability to handle pressure and a passion for solving problems impacting customers around the world.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-priority network escalations and resolve complex issues in switching, routing, security or data centre environments.
- Analyse the root cause, identify patterns and suggest permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with TAC engineers, engineering teams, and product developers to resolve platform defects and performance issues.
- Analyse logs, debug data, and packet captures to isolate and troubleshoot problems.
- Guide customers on best practices, configuration optimisation, and network stability.
- Document solutions, create knowledge-based articles and support process improvements.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers as required.
- Stay up to date with Cisco certifications, new technologies, and industry trends.
