- We are in search of a skilled DataStage Developer to become part of our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing applications that are scalable and high-performing. You will collaborate closely with our team of front-end developers, designers, and other professionals to provide high-quality solutions that align with our clients’ requirements.
Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or higher, with at least 3 years of relevant. experience For DataStage Developer Position.
Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Development using ETL tools – Datastage 11.5, 11.7
- Capability in creating complex SQL queries and effectively debugging them
- Prior experience in production support is preferable
- Willingness to facilitate the transition of developed jobs to the production support team and provide guidance until they are self-reliant
- Versatility to work in both Development and Production support roles
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Readiness to work until 9 PM IST, as needed
Required Qualifications for Success in this Role: Must-Have Skills:
- Interaction with the customer and support team onsite • Proficiency in debugging production issues and implementing bug fixes • Ability to interact with the customer, collaborate with their Business Analysts, understand requirements, and implement solutions • Capacity to develop jobs and optimize them using ETL tools • Value addition to projects through innovative ideas to enhance applications and streamline processes • Sustaining the integrity of systems and services by thoroughly investigating and promptly resolving issues, adhering to IT Service Management principles (ITIL) • Exceptional communication skills
