The Customer Success Engineer Co-Op 2026 is a full-time 16-week internship opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students graduating between May 2027 and May 2028… Like Interns help clients maximize the value of IBM solutions support technology adoption AND learn about artificial intelligence and next-generation technologies. Applicants must be available to work 40 hours per week in the fall of 2026 and cannot register for classes , classes during the cooperation period.

Your role and responsibilities:- Your primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

Area	Responsibility
Client Engagement	Understand clients’ Data, AI, and Hybrid Cloud challenges and build trusted relationships.
Use Case Discovery	Conduct workshops to identify AI use cases and business value opportunities.
AI Solution Development	Build AI prototypes and MVPs using Python, open-source tools, Red Hat, and IBM watsonx.
Technical Consulting	Lead technical discussions and recommend suitable IBM solutions.
Customer Success	Create adoption plans to increase product usage and long-term customer success.

Eligibility & Skills Required

Category	Requirement
Education	Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
Student Status	Must be an actively enrolled undergraduate or graduate student available for full-time work during Fall 2026.
Programming	Experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
AI & ML	Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI workflows.
AI Frameworks	Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and Hugging Face.
Vector Databases	Familiarity with Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.
Model Deployment	Understanding of API-based deployment and LLM inference.
Client Skills	Ability to understand business challenges and provide technical solutions.
Communication	Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Soft Skills	Teamwork, problem-solving, self-motivation, and adaptability.
