Job Description:
The Assistant Manager – Indirect Taxation at Meesho will manage GST compliance, reconciliations, and tax filings. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, handling GSTR-2B reconciliations, supporting tax authority data requests, and improving tax-related systems. A Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience in indirect tax is required.
Key Responsibilities:
GST Compliance & Reconciliations:
- Oversee the GST compliance and reconciliations for all of the GSTINs below Meesho’s operations.
- Undertake GSTR-2B reconciliations with books of debts, ensuring accuracy and directly following up with providers for any discrepancies.
- Manage GST reporting, making sure all tax invoices are successfully suggested by using providers of their GSTR-1.
Tax Invoices & ITC Eligibility:
- Work with the tech and product groups to ensure seamless assistance for oblique tax file modifications, upgrades, and upgrades to fulfill both compliance and enterprise desires.
- Provide know-how in determining Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility, HSN codes, and relevant GST charges for numerous transactions.
Supporting Tax Authorities:
- Assist in getting ready replies, data, and different records as required through tax authorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
