Role & Responsibilities:-
- App Development: Develop, construct, and sustain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
- Feature Implementation: Work with other stakeholders such as product managers and the design teams to put in place changes to the product that will enhance the value proposition for users while at the same time creating value for the business.
- Code Quality: Develop quality code, optimize the application’s functionality, and maintain documentation for the code.
- Testing & Debugging: Locate bad code areas in the app correct them and carry out optimisation for smooth running of the app.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to enhance API integration to the app.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain a current industry practice regarding specific industry tools/ technology and incorporate them into the development cycles.
- User Feedback: Review ‘customer’ input and pertinent ‘usage statistics’ and thereafter make the necessary ‘adjustments’.
Qualifications:-
- The minimum education qualification is a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or any related field.
- Applicants should have more than 2 years of experience in Android Application development.
- Familiar with Android SDK, different forms of Android, and how to address the various forms of screen resolution.
- Knowledge of Kotlin and specifically Java as a programming language.
- They have to have experience with the RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- There is an understanding of such elements as cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Knowledge about the tools that are used to manage the code versions, for instance, Git.
