Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Deployment:
- Design, set up, and maintain international network infrastructure, that specializes in WAN and LAN technologies.
- Deploy gadgets and enforce scalable network solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple groups, which include product, infrastructure, and safety teams, to fulfill task requirements.
Network Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Apply knowledge within the TCP/IP protocol suite, LAN/WAN technology, routing, and switching.
- Diagnose and remedy hardware, connectivity, and routing troubles successfully.
- Support and mentor level 1 staff as an escalation factor for troubleshooting complicated issues.
Automation and DevOps Integration:
- Utilize automation gear like Python and Ansible to streamline network operations.
- Leverage DevOps tools, including Ansible and Git, to beautify network performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
- 5+ years of technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- OR a Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields with 1+ year of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in switching and routing basics.
- Experience with routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP, Static, and OSPF.
- Strong troubleshooting abilties to perceive and clear up community problems.
Automation Knowledge:
- Hands-on enjoy with Python and Ansible.
- Familiarity with DevOps equipment like Ansible and Git.
Compliance: Ability to fulfill Microsoft’s safety screening requirements, which include passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check each year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
