In this role, you will:-
- Design and build data pipelines and management systems
- Develop and optimise batch and real-time streaming pipelines using tools like Airflow and dbt
- Work with data architects and IT teams to understand requirements and create designs
- Ensure data processes follow security and regulatory standards
- Integrate new data management technologies into existing systems
- Create custom software components to support business intelligence needs
- Monitor pipeline performance and fix issues when needed
- Provide data-access tools and visualisation capabilities for non-technical users

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or data-intensive development roles
- Expertise in SQL, Python and experience with CI/CD processes and Git

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and containerised solutions like Docker
- Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and dbt
- Understanding of data science concepts, ML frameworks, and big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on time
