The Senior AR Caller at Sutherland is responsible for resolving outstanding accounts receivable (AR) and denials in US healthcare. Key tasks include reviewing claims, managing denial processes, ensuring quality and production targets, and utilizing coding tools like CCI and McKesson. A strong understanding of RCM and excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

Claims Review and Denial Management:

  • The primary duty of the Senior AR Caller is to check claims, liquidate and remedy extremely good debts receivables (AR), and take care of denials successfully.
  • Perform observe-up calls to coverage companies, ensuring that wonderful claims are addressed directly.

Quality and Production Monitoring:

  • Ensure high quality and accuracy in all AR processes, aiming for minimal deviation from the required standards.
  • Meet day-by-day key responsibility areas (KRAs) to make sure production is finished within set timelines.

Adherence to Operational Standards:

  • Maintain adherence to shift schedules and efficient time on the device.
  • Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and make certain that daily productivity objectives are met continuously.

Claims and Coding Knowledge:

  • Have a strong understanding of claim forms like CMS 1500.
  • Be talented in various coding tools inclusive of CCI and McKesson, and apprehend how they relate to the claims process.
  • Knowledge of clearing houses which include Waystar and eCommerce platforms for AR management.

Communication Skills:

  • Communicate efficiently with both inner groups and external stakeholders (coverage companies, customers, and many others.).
  • File verbal exchange and steps taken in resolving AR and denial issues.

Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:

  • Use critical wondering abilties to remedy problems related to claims processing and denials.
  • Investigate and analyze any discrepancies in claim processing, operating to rectify them efficiently.

  • Knowledge of US Healthcare Systems: A background in US healthcare is essential, particularly in managing provider-side AR processes.
