Job description For Territory Manager

Sales:

  • To onboard new customers through efficient handling of trade and control channel (Fleet of promoters and distributor manpower)
  • To achieve tertiary recharge sales and Gross Prepaid targets
  • To work on One Airtel’ agenda and drive penetration of DTH and Bank Business
  • To set up right distribution for a dominant service edge vs our competition

Service:

  • To ensure that all distributors are engaged
  • To ensure that customer is on-boarded in a smooth and hassle-free manner
  • To extract business from the territory
  • To own network coverage and quality in the allocated territory.

Team Management:

  • To onboard, train and manage Field Sales Executives
  • To onboard, train and manage Urban and Rural Promoters
  • To analyze and decipher all MIS reports for appropriate actions

Territory Manager

Key Responsibilities for Territory Manager

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. This involves a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges. You will serve as a liaison between the organization and clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement.

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings. Use this information to inform strategic decision-making and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure the successful implementation of business plans. Effective communication and collaboration are crucial in achieving organizational goals.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and generate insightful reports. This data-driven approach will be instrumental in refining strategies and making informed business decisions.

Qualifications for Territory Manager

MBA Degree: A graduate with an MBA in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and build relationships.
