Job Description:
The roles of Processor and Senior Processor in US Mortgage are important for processing mortgage-related responsibilities, making sure of accuracy, and adhering to strict pointers. Job Responsibilities:
Mortgage Processing Tasks:
- Evaluate and process loan applications according to US mortgage requirements and policies.
- Ensure all files are as they should be reviewed and established.
Underwriting Support:
- Handle the “4Cs of Underwriting” (Credit, Capacity, Collateral, and Capital).
- Assess credit reviews, calculate income, and make certain debt-to-profits (DTI) and loan-to-cost (LTV) ratios are within appropriate limits.
Detailed Review:
- Review salary and self-employment earnings documentation to decide eligibility.
- Analyze asset calculations for underwriting decisions.
- Evaluate property info and calculate PITI (Principal, Interest, Taxes, Insurance).
Compliance and Communication:
- Maintain compliance with enterprise and company standards.
- Collaborate successfully with go-purposeful groups to ensure well-timed processing.
Skills Required:
Strong expertise in US Mortgage Underwriting: Knowledge of the 4Cs of underwriting (Credit, Capacity, Collateral, Capital) is essential.
Experience in earnings and asset verification: Ability to calculate revenue earnings, self-employment earnings, and assets for mortgage qualification.
Familiarity with key mortgage calculations: Understanding of Debt-To-Income (DTI) ratios, Loan-To-Value (LTV) ratios, PITI (Principal, Interest, Taxes, Insurance), and other industry-specific metrics.
Credit file review: Ability to analyze credit reviews for chance assessment and identify capability issues.
Attention to detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing economic files and calculations.
Time management and organizational skills: Ability to paint under tight deadlines even making sure accuracy in loan documentation processing.
Problem-solving abilities: Capability to clear up discrepancies and issues that may arise in the course of the loan processing degrees.
Effective conversation competencies: Ability to speak with inner teams, clients, and different stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications: Any Graduate (UG degree) is required for both positions.
Experience:
- Processor: 1 to 3 years of experience in US Mortgage processing.
- Senior Processor: 4 to 8 years of experience in US Mortgage processing.
Immediate joiners are preferred, especially for the Processor role, while the Senior Processor can have a notice period of 1 month.
