Job Description : Area Sales Manager
Introduction:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding market presence within your designated geographic region. With your leadership and strategic acumen, you will oversee a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Role & Responsibilities:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be accountable for managing Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts, fostering Human Capital engagement, controlling costs, and generating revenue across multiple branches within a defined geographical area. Your key duties will include:
- Overseeing P&L, Employee Motivation, Customer Delight, and Process improvement, ensuring revenue linkage.
- Establishing new Retail outlets in the Region, encompassing location identification, brand positioning, and Sales operations launch.
- Directing region-wide activities such as formulating local marketing and retail strategies, initiating merchandising activities, administering stores, and managing staff.
- Managing Below-the-Line (BTL) activities like In-store advertising, sales promotion, workshops, events, trade shows, and product placement.
- Expanding business through innovative promotional activities, infomercials, campaigns, and enhanced Customer Experience Management (CEM).
- Driving retail base expansion initiatives with creativity, business acumen, and a target-oriented approach.
- Being prepared for extensive travel and possessing a pleasing personality to offer personalized services to high net worth individuals.
- Demonstrating experience in managing multilocation sales operations with a team size of at least 15 people.
