Job Description:

• Develop complex drawings and bills-of-material based on established product designs.
• Consult with plant and field sales engineers to interpret and define new equipment applications.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
• Advise C.O.D., Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure accurate production of equipment.
• Resolve quality issues post-shipment and conduct purchaser visits for equipment approval.
• Undertake complex development/application projects and participate in cost and cycle time improvement activities.
• Conduct technical training seminars and provide guidance to department personnel.
• Analyze and recommend revisions to department policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC.
• Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics from an accredited institution.
• One year of manufacturing experience, including internships and co-op assignments.
• Knowledge of power distribution and control systems (LV and MV Switchgear, Panel boards and Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, etc.).
• Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and design standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), AutoCAD, and databases.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
