• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field in the EMEA region, ideally in the penultimate or final year of study.
• Hands-on experience with data structures and algorithms through coursework, research, internships, or practical projects, including contributions to open-source coding.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Go, or similar.
• Ability to research, design, and develop software applications that enhance Google’s product offerings.
• Experience or interest in working on projects involving natural language processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data compression, or search technologies.
• Collaborative mindset to address scalability challenges and optimize access to data and information.
