Job Description: Android, C++, Java Developer
HARMAN International is currently seeking talented and passionate Android, C++, and Java developers to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Android Development:
- Design and develop high-quality Android applications for smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into the development process.
C++ Development:
- Write efficient, maintainable, and portable C++ code.
- Work on performance optimization and memory management.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
Java Development:
- Develop robust and scalable Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in Android app development using Java and Kotlin.
- Strong proficiency in C++ development and debugging skills.
- Solid understanding of Java programming language and related technologies.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills Required:
For Android Development:
- Java/Kotlin: Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages, especially for Android app development.
- Android SDK: Strong understanding of the Android Software Development Kit (SDK) and its components.
- XML: Knowledge of XML for designing user interfaces in Android apps.
- Android Studio: Familiarity with the official IDE for Android development.
- User Interface (UI) Design: Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- RESTful APIs: Understanding of working with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
For C++ Development:
- C++ Language: Strong proficiency in C++ programming language.
- STL: Knowledge of Standard Template Library (STL) for data structures and algorithms.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Understanding of OOP concepts such as classes, objects, and inheritance.
- Memory Management: Familiarity with memory management techniques like pointers and dynamic memory allocation/deallocation.
- Multithreading: Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency in C++.
- Compiler and Build Systems: Understanding of compilers and build systems like Make, CMake, or Bazel.
For Java Development:
- Java Language: Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
- Java Standard Edition (SE): Knowledge of core Java libraries and features.
- Java Enterprise Edition (EE) (Optional): Familiarity with Java EE technologies for web application development.
- Frameworks: Knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Spring or Hibernate.
- Database Management: Proficiency in working with databases using JDBC or ORM tools.
