Netflix is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Post Services Specialist to join our Content Operations team. As a Post Services Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing the post-production workflow and ensuring the flawless delivery of high-quality content to our global audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Production Workflow Management:

Coordinate and oversee the post-production process, including editing, sound mixing, visual effects, and color grading.
Collaborate with filmmakers, editors, sound designers, and other post-production professionals to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.
Manage the scheduling of post-production activities and resources to meet project deadlines.

Quality Control:

Conduct rigorous quality checks on all content to ensure it meets Netflix’s high standards for video and audio quality.
Address any issues related to video and audio quality, continuity, and visual effects by liaising with post-production teams and external vendors.
Stay abreast of the latest post-production technologies, software, and industry trends. Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external teams, ensuring compliance with Netflix’s technical specifications.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster effective communication and collaboration between content creators, post-production vendors, and internal teams.
Provide clear instructions and guidelines to vendors, ensuring they understand and adhere to Netflix’s requirements and expectations.
Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, resolving challenges related to content delivery and quality in a timely manner.

Data Management and Documentation:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of post-production activities, versions, edits, and final deliveries.
Utilize data management systems to track project status, facilitate reporting, and ensure streamlined workflows.
Generate comprehensive reports and analysis to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of post-production processes, suggesting improvements as necessary.

Problem Solving and Process Optimization:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Several years of experience in post-production workflows and processes within the entertainment industry.
Strong technical knowledge of video and audio formats, codecs, and delivery specifications.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in post-production software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, etc.
