IndiGo Freshers Walk in Drive Job Description:
The role of Ground Staff at IndiGo encompasses a wide range of duties within Airport Operations and Customer Service (AO&CS), ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operations at the airport. Ground personnel plays a crucial position in managing everyday operations, which includes helping passengers with check-in, bag management, security assessments, ramp responsibilities, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Terminal Services (Customer Service)
Reservations & Ticketing:
- Make reservations across the counter and assist in selling tickets.
- Handle coin transactions and remit cash to the involved department.
- Address patron queries and offer facts over the smartphone.
Departures:
- Attend pre-flight and publish-flight briefings.
- Set up take-a-look-in counters and control the screening of checked-in luggage.
- Maintain amazing test-in methods and help customers with unique requests.
Arrivals:
- Assist clients with special requests upon arrival.
- Handle mishandled or damaged bags by preparing reviews and coordinating with the bag seller.
Post-Flight Departure: File all essential flight papers and make certain right documentation of flight operations.
2. Security:
- Maintain corporation-required security requirements and ensure green threat assessment.
- Perform responsibilities in keeping with the Security Programme, ensuring adherence to emergency response methods and regulations.
- Optimize assets and preserve safety protocols to save you from robbery or pilferage of business enterprise property.
3. Ramp Operations:
- Confirm flight ETA from the Operations Control Centre (OCC) or device and talk with relevant stations.
- Ensure the timely arrival of equipment and body of workers at the bay 20 minutes before flight arrival.
- Oversee the unloading of passengers and make sure that baggage is accurately transported to the arrival place before the passengers.
- Supervise the plane cleansing system and verify boarding clearance with the cabin crew.
Skills Required:
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written conversation abilities are critical for interacting with passengers, the airport body of workers, and other stakeholders.
Customer Service: Ability to offer exquisite service to passengers and cope with their concerns promptly and professionally.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address unexpected conditions such as mishandled baggage or consumer proceedings.
Teamwork: Working intently with various groups, such as safety, ramp operations, and customer support, to ensure clean operations.
