Fellowship and other facilities – NIT Rourkela Summer Internship Programme 2026

No fellowship or any financial support will be offered.
Access to the laboratory, library facilities (without book borrowing), and internet services will be provided.
Medical consultation facility available at the institute’s dispensary.
Approximate cost for food and accommodation at NIT Rourkela hostel is around ₹7500 per month.

NIT Rourkela Summer Internship Programme 2026 – ELIGIBILITY

Criteria	Details
Availability Requirement	Applicants must be available during the internship period (May 18 to July 17, 2026). Candidates who cannot stay for the full duration should not apply. Requests for late joining or early departure will not be accepted.
Academic Documents	Candidates must possess grade sheets for all completed semesters. For example, if a student is appearing for the 6th semester exam in April/May 2026, results up to the 5th semester must be available during the online application.
B.E. / B.Tech Eligibility	B.E. or B.Tech students with a strong academic background who have completed at least the 4th semester examination are eligible to apply.
B.Arch / Integrated Programs	Students from B.Arch, Integrated M.Sc., Integrated M.Tech, or Dual Degree programs with good academic performance who have completed at least the 6th semester examination can apply.
M.Sc / MA / MBA Eligibility	M.Sc., MA, or MBA students with a good academic record who have completed at least the 2nd semester examination are eligible to apply.
