Job Description:
As a Customer Architect at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing contemporary 4G/5G solutions tailor-made for fundamental telecom operators and MVNOs in Japan. This function involves operating intently with customers to provide architectural and layout understanding of the use of Nokia’s advanced SDM, IMS, Cloud products, and Business Applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their wishes and translate these into technical answers using Nokia’s 4G/5G SDM, IMS, and Cloud merchandise. Design and create effective stop-to-stop answers that align with customer requirements and marketplace positioning.
Technical Leadership: Act as a technical lead for huge undertaking teams, overseeing integration, operations, or performance-associated offerings. Lead efforts in designing and implementing solutions for EPC, 5G, and IMS with a focus on Core products.
End-to-End Testing & Integration: Oversee the installation, integration, and checking out of 5G and IMS solutions. Ensure answers are fully tested and demonstrated to meet consumer specifications.
Architecture & Design: Develop technical structure and design for 5G Core (Option 2 or 3X VNF) and IMS answers. Create exact architectural designs that cope with consumer desires and contain ultra-modern technological improvements.
Customer & Internal Collaboration: Build robust relationships with customers and inner groups. Act as a trusted consultant, partnering with clients at some point of deployment sports to ensure successful project transport.
Solution Support: Provide a guide for solution architecture in RFI, RFPs, and purchaser trials. Offer technical steerage and guide to income teams in the course of consumer discussions.
Troubleshooting & Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot complex 5G/IMS name flows, along with VoLTE, VoWiFi, and 5G, with the usage of tools such as Wireshark. Understand and control diverse 5G/IMS protocols, consisting of SIP, Diameter, SNMP, and HTTP2.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an associated area. Advanced tiers or equal work enjoyment is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of tested experience in telecom initiatives from an end-to-stop attitude.
Skills:
- Strong 5G Core and IMS expertise.
- Expertise in HTTP2 and numerous 5G interfaces.
- Experience with Cloud technology (Kubernetes, Helm charts, OpenStack, VMware, Ansible, Playbooks, Containers).
- Proficiency in OSS/BSS technology (Zabbix, Elastic, Jaeger, Prometheus, Fluentd).
- Hands-on enjoy with 5G/IMS protocols (SIP, Diameter, SNMP, HTTP2) and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark).
