The Process Head – R2R at UltraTech Cement will lead stop-to-stop Record to Report (R2R) processes, ensuring correct monetary reporting, statutory compliance, and timely audit closures. The function entails using procedure improvements, automation, group control, and overall performance tracking, whilst coordinating with internal teams and auditors. Strong management and expertise in finance operations are critical for this strategic role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Transition & Transformation:
- Support the Delivery Head in dealing with seamless transitions and procedure centralization.
- Identify and communicate procedure gaps or automation opportunities.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for brand new system implementations.
2. Process Standardization & Automation:
- Align R2R approaches with compliance and manipulate frameworks.
- Train teams on new procedures and tools in coordination with technical running shoes.
3. Accounting & Reporting Excellence:
- Validate and approve accounting entries for statutory payments and monthly closings.
- Ensure timely filings and compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and MSME policies.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manipulate borrowers/creditors schedules.
4. Audit Management:
- Coordinate with inner groups and auditors to ensure well-timed audit closure.
- Provide accurate data and reply to audit queries efficiently.
5. Service Delivery Management:
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Turn Around Times (TAT), and crew overall performance.
- Frontline stakeholder communications and managing escalations effectively.
6. MIS & Dashboards:
- Prepare periodic dashboards for Delivery Heads highlighting crew overall performance, dangers, and crucial activities.
- Generate various MIS reviews like Capex, Working Capital, Financial Variances, etc.
7. Risk & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal manipulate techniques.
