The Business Development Executive in our IT company will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and driving company growth through strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Analyze market data to develop strategies for targeting and acquiring new clients.
2. Business Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals.
- Devise innovative approaches for product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs, propose solutions, and negotiate contracts to secure business deals.
4. Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base.
5. Proposal Development and Presentations:
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition effectively.
6. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project transitions post-client acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (0-5 years) in business development, sales, or a similar role within the IT industry.
- In-depth understanding of IT products/services and market trends.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Certifications in sales or business development (optional but beneficial).
