Job Description:
Lenovo seeks an Advisory Firmware Engineer in Bengaluru to design, develop, and maintain BMC firmware for ThinkSystem servers. Key responsibilities include implementing platform solutions, debugging, and mentoring junior staff. Requires proficiency in C/C++, BMC protocols (IPMI, RedFish), server architectures (AMD/Intel), Agile methodologies, and strong problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities Of Advisory Firmware Engineer:
As an Advisory Firmware Engineer at Lenovo, you will be entrusted with various responsibilities that make contributions to the improvement and protection of server BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) firmware for ThinkSystem products. Your number one duties will encompass:
Firmware Development & Maintenance:
- Develop and hold the server BMC firmware for Lenovo ThinkSystem products.
- Collaborate with move-functional groups to outline the platform necessities and specifications.
- Implement and document firmware for each new and existing merchandise, making sure of alignment with enterprise requirements and patron requirements.
Design & Implementation:
- Take obligation for the design and implementation of BMC platform solutions.
